Bio
Diane Wah is a Haitian-American artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She’s been living in New York City since 1986. Her work, photography rooted in the documentary tradition, relishes in the profane. In 2005 Diane received her B.A. in Culture and Media Studies from Eugene Lang College at the New School University and in the spring of 2008 she received her M.F.A. in Studio Art/Photography from Columbia University. She has been exhibited in Various New York Galleries and her vagina was reviewed by the NY Times. She teaches and photographs and is currently completing a year-long residency at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation.
