Bio
Diane Wah is a Haitian-American artist from Queens, NY. She’s been living in New York City since 1986. Her work, photography rooted in the documentary tradition, relishes in the profane. In 2005 Diane received her B.A. in Culture and Media Studies from Eugene Lang College at the New School University and in the spring of 2008 she received her M.F.A. in Studio Art/Photography from Columbia University. She has been exhibited at Rush Arts Gallery,the House of Campari and her vagina was reviewed by the NY Times. She is currently completing a year-long residency at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation
